Lee Stafford Dry Shampoo - Poker Straight for Oily Roots ▍Rating: ★ ★ ★ ★

I was given a sample of this product at a Business Chicks breakfast, had never heard of it prior.  Surprisingly it's not a bad product.  You spray the product on your roots and then vigorously rub it into your scalp.  It takes away the oily look from your hair so you can get away with one more day of not washing your hair.

It's no real substitute for washing your hair mind you, it's clearly not as good as that and I certainly wouldn't use it before a Saturday night out or if I was going somewhere nice,  but if you just want to pop up to the shopping centre or somewhere casual, it will do the trick to freshen you up and make your hair look clean.

For someone like me that can't normally get away without washing my hair everyday, it's a nice find.

Carrington Place, Newcastle ▍Rating:★ ★ ★ ★

A great accomodation find in Newcastle.  It's a step above a hostel, and a step below a hotel.  Recently refurbished, it is clean, fresh and inviting.  The rooms contain fresh fruit, bathrobes, toiletries, air conditioning and clean fresh linen.  But for the fact that there are shared bathrooms, I would have thought I was staying in a hotel.

The place is run by a couple with restaurant experience.  There is a fantastic tapas bar and restaurant at the bottom of the venue.

On the downside, it's a little bit away from the heart of Newcastle and sometimes the restaurant/bar closes early.

A fantastic place to stay though and highly recommended.
